Kasey Pukys
Head Instructor - Extemporaneous Speaking

Kasey Pukys competed in International Extemporaneous Speaking at Perry High School for three years and was a three-time state qualifier in IX. During her senior year, Kasey became Perry High School's first Speech and Debate President, won seven tournaments across the state, and became the Ohio State Champion in IX. Additionally, she qualified for the NSDA national tournament twice, once in World Schools Debate and once in Congressional Debate, where she finished in the semifinals her senior year. She is now attending Case Western Reserve University, where she is majoring in computer science and international studies. Kasey believes that Extemp and Congress develop essential communication skills, critical thinking, and a global perspective that goes beyond speech and debate. She is very excited to lead the extemp division at CDC next summer!

Information about additional Extemp staff members will be posted as their participation is confirmed.
