Mary Paydock
Instructor - Congressional Debate 

Mary Paydock competed in Congressional Debate for two years at Northwest High School. She helped her school form their speech and debate team and served as the President her junior and senior year. She was a two time semi-finalist in Congress at the Ohio state tournament and a two time national qualifier. Mary won the Eastern Ohio National Qualifier her senior year. Mary is attending the Ohio State University and is studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and Music Performance! Mary attended CDC as a camper in 2021 and joined the staff in 2022.

Sripaal Godavarthi
Instructor - Congressional Debate 

Sripaal Godavarthi competed in Congressional Debate for four years at Olentangy High School. He served as both team captain and president his junior and senior year. In his senior year, Sripaal and his teammates scored the most Congressional sweepstakes points at the state tournament. Individually, he is a two-time state finalist, a state runner-up, two-time Best Presiding Officer in Ohio, two-time national qualifier, and NCFL National Semi-Finalist. Sripaal is currently attending The Ohio State University, double majoring in Public Policy Analysis and Finance. Outside of debate, he is a huge sports fan, a trumpet player, an anime enthusiast, and someone who will never turn down a good meal. He is thrilled to join the CDC staff and bring his energy and experience to a new generation of debaters.
