Edith House and Bella House Win CDC2025 LD and PF House Cups!

Edith House won the 2025 House Cup with a total of 40 points. They had the LD runner-up, Amelia Butler, and two quarterfinalists, Reagan Carnes and Annie Chiang. Also earning points for Edith House were Most Improved Lab Member Reagan Carnes and Competitors' Choice Award winner Shrin Vaitheeswaran. Congratulations to all the members of Edith House and to their house advisor Olivia Declercq! ​ This year, Isaiah House came in 2nd place with 33 points, Katie House came in 3rd with 30 points, Lewis House was 4th with 27 points, Gonda House was 5th with 26 points, and Schaller House was 6th with 23 points.

For the first time, the Public Forum division also did houses. The three PF houses were Abraham House, Bella House, and Madelynn House, each named after legendary CDC PF instructors. At the end of the prelim rounds of the camp tournament, the four PF teams in Bella House were seeded 1-4, and Bella House went on to close out the tournament with Hannah Rosenfeld and Zoe Mei winning 1st place and Ben Lyndall and Jack Shein winning 2nd. Thanks to their dominating run in the camp tournament, Bella House took home the 2025 PF House Cup. Their house advisor was Avery Johnson.

Gonda House Wins 2024 LD House Cup!

Gonda House (shown above) won the 2024 House Cup with a total of 50 points. They had the camp tournament champion (Neil Heckman), a semifinalist (Chris Rhodes), a quarterfinalist (Addy Gerbick), and an octafinalist (Salma Fareed). Chris Rhodes also won a Competitors' Choice award. Congratulations to all the members of Gonda House and to their house advisor Abby Poprocki!

Schaller House came in 2nd place with 48 points, Edith House came in 3rd with 40 points, the new Isaiah House was 4th with 36 points, Lewis House was 5th with 31 points, and the new Katie House was 6th with 29 points.
